Skowt Ltd

Skowt was developed to solve a problem faced by volunteer youth organisations the world over: `How can we take advantage of the communications potential of the Web, while looking after the safety and security of our members?`

Our solution was to pull together a number of proven technologies to create a unique online platform that is designed specifically for Scouting, Girl Guiding and other volunteer-run youth organisations. Skowt allows established offline networks to streamline their communications and share their experiences and ideas online.

Skowt Ltd is run by a small team of creative professionals from offices in Sheffield, UK.

Our founder

Perhaps it was inevitable that our founder Rob Gregory would create Skowt. A web professional by day, Rob is also an Explorer Scout Leader with Centaurs ESU in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

Rob therefore understands the communication needs of volunteer youth organisations and how to meet them safely online. He has been developing Skowt since 2005 and continues to lead the company today.
